My Writing Journey

I didn’t set out to be an author—God just handed me stories and questions I couldn’t keep quiet about. After walking through anxiety, trauma, loss, and a little therapy, one truth has been cemented in me: God meets us right in the middle of our mess, just as we are—not after we’ve managed to straighten out our lives. That’s where my words come from—a real place, shaped by both my scars and my hope.

Writing, for me, is a mix of self-help, trauma-informed compassion, honest questions, and true stories where God shows up—sometimes in surprising ways, sometimes in big ways, and sometimes in small ways—in little God winks. I love exploring thought-provoking topics, digging deep into the questions we wish someone would finally ask out loud, and learning about new things—especially when that means breaking down the latest self-help research or unpacking emerging mental health studies. It’s not just about the theory, but about what actually works, the messy real-life applications that bring lasting help and hope.

I believe in free expression and the exploration of unique ideas, lining all of it up with the word of God and challenging ourselves to think outside of the limitations of the flesh, to walk and think in the spirit.

Sometimes I write nonfiction that wrestles with faith, resilience, mental health, and the big questions that tug at our hearts. Other times, I turn to fiction—stories that invite us to relax and recognize ourselves or those we love as we navigate real-life struggles, celebrate hard-won victories, and learn how to keep moving forward. And sometimes, I explore unconventional topics or whatever else may come up along the way, because life rarely fits in neat categories and neither does my writing.

If you’re here, maybe we’re looking for some of the same things:

Mental Health: Addressing and acknowledging mental health in an unapologetic real way, while learning to trust God with our minds and souls and making space for true healing.
Resilience: Leaning on grace to keep going, even when it’s messy.
Healing: Knowing God doesn’t demand perfection—He invites honesty and growth, one step at a time.
Faith: Watching for God’s presence in the ordinary and the chaos.
Curiosity: Diving into new ideas and research, and seeing how they play out in real life, not just in books or articles—plus whatever else may come along this journey.

I’m not here to fix you. I don’t have all the answers. But I’ll sit with you in the questions, share what God’s taught me along the way, and remind you that healing isn’t linear—and that's okay.

Let’s walk this road together—with faith, a lot of grace, honest laughter, curiosity, and hope that refuses to quit—trusting God will meet us every step of the way.
